Special Orders of Fine Art Jewelry by
Kristina L. Malcolm of Fluxusmetalworks
Existing Designs
If you want custom piece in a similar style to an existing design you may have seen in Kristina’s collection, such can be made and sized to your specifications. Such a commission will, in normal times require a four week lead time for prepaid orders. During the show and holiday season this will be extended.
If you do not wish to prepay, your order will be placed in a queue dependent on its acceptance date and will be made as Kristina’s workload will permit. This can extend to several months dependent on show, class schedules, and holidays.

Portraiture
Most portrait projects require a clear silhouette digital (300dpi) image (see the sample photographs on this page) submitted via e-mail. The price of these special orders is based on the current market value of silver plus a labor rate (plus any shipping costs and misc. expenses). Specialized portrait labor rate is $40 an hour. Most projects require a minimum of 6 weeks to complete and required a non-refundable materials deposit with the balance due at the time of completion.

Special Orders without a Portrait

Prices for special orders without portraits are based on the current market value of silver plus a standardized labor rate (plus any shipping costs or misc. expenses). And usually take minimally four weeks to complete.

Rush Orders
If you wish to place a rush-order it will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Delivery
All orders are shipped via USPS and are sent first class with delivery confirmation. Any additional services (change in carrier, insurance, etc) must be negotiated up front. Customers may also choose to pick up a finished piece at an art show (see calendar).
As with all artists and their work, each piece, whether an adaptation of an existing design or a completely custom piece is a unique one-of-a-kind work of art. Kristina’s own hands using her skill and formal training in fine art create these pieces for you. Fluxusmetalworks and Kristina sincerely hope that you and loved ones will wear and cherish your Fine Art Jewelry for generations.

Thank you for your continued support.
